Hi David;
No ! The BRDM-2 came out too late.
The only Wheeled Vehicles that you see are the BRDM,& 152 truck. Im sure there are others, but I haven't seen much in the way of pictures of the Soviet Invasion.

They were there. The BRDM-2 came out in 1962. This is the only pic I have of one.

And Bison has markings for one in a set they just put out

Hi,
your BRDM looks very nice so far. But i think you should add the handle on top of the heavy machine gun. At the moment i'm building a trumpeter btr-70 and it's missing there too. It seems that trumpeter simply forgot this detail on all machine guns of this type.

Nice work David.As for the color, if you will use filters etc, go for the flat green as those will darken it. Still i would suggest, if i may, that you get a 4BO, since it has a shade of its own. Either way looking forward to see it painted.
My work.

Very promising build!
Out of curiosity, what brand of green putty is that? Looks to be very malleable.

Cool, I would like to do a BRDM-2 the same way you are doing yours. I like the way they look with the recognition stripes.

Coming along nicely. I particularly like your work on the turret edges and the white recognition stripes came out really sharp.

I think that early type BRDM-2's did not have turret periscope.
Trumpeter did very nice job indeed.
Nice work except some glue marks here and there.
