Hi there,

I just read the excellent book from Mr. Zaloga, Jeep 1941-1945.
In that book it is showed a jeep sporting a field modification, a snow plug device, and the caption places it in Bastogne during January 1945.
This is the image:


I spent an important amount of time seeking some more information on that variant, but my search was fruitless.
Can some expert on Allied vehicles indicate me if that was a single unique field modification, or is it possible to find a conversion set to build that jeep with the snow plug?
