Hi,

I came across this video of a column of ROK T-80's (T-80U models I believe. Looking at the video it appears that the South Korean have added bustle racks the the sides, but does anybody have any better images to confirm this.

Also are there any other changes that would be needed to change the Xact T-80U to a ROK version.

I've got to say I love seeing the mixture of US, Korean and Soviet armour all in one column!

Yes, they also changed their camo to the standard ROK MERDC pattern.

Wow, what a truly epic blend of armour. Those T-80s do appear to have bustle baskets fitted to the rear of their turrets. As I recall one of the notable shortcomings of Soviet era armour was their poor provisions for crew stowage. It seems as if the Koreans made a very good call. Not only did they seem to have improved the crew stowage but the added stowage bustles a crew kit would add extra protection to the rear of the turret. The antennae are also bent backwards, similar to the K1s. I personally love to see Soviet era armour modded by the West.

Hi,

Does anybody know
what changes would need to be made to the Xact T-80 kit to make a RoK version, other than the bustle racks?

Thanks,
James
