Just saw the new photos! The brickwork looks convincing, except for one detail:

if you look at the open sides, you see a vertical line almost from top to bottom, dividing the bricks through the middle.

This would mean a serious weakening of the structure, as the walls would tend to simply fall apart. Instead, every second "layer" would be across, so the corresponding gaps now present should be filled.

I hope I managed to explain the matter!!

The railing on the balcony looks good! Paperclips..????

I know very well! I'm presently working on a Diorama sited in Hue during the Tet offensive (new town, south of the Perfume river) and it will include at least one residential building.

And I'm half french myself, so...!!

And you also have shown me, for one, a neat lil' technique in producing ruined walls. Simple art store materials and some sculpting skills, this is very convincing and I'm looking forward to your progress.
