I recently picked up the Miniarm T72B2 conversion for the Zvezda T-90 and was wondering what the proper track would be for it. T-90 style tracks or standard T-72 tracks?
I picked up the Slat armor set as well, not sure what I was thinking lol. Does anyone know if it would fit a Tamiya T-72? Have a few other Miniarm conversions and want to try and get to them before they all get released in plastic.
Thanks,
Jimmy

T-90 style most likely. The new "universal" (T-90) track is being applied to all tanks as they go through rebuild.

I'll check the fit with the Tamiya kit, but do keep in mind the T-90/T-72B2 does have a different exhaust stack on it vs the T-72

Thanks guys, I'll hunt down some T-90 tracks, now rubber shoes or not lol.
If I ever get to the slat I'll just leave it for T72B2 conversion. I can't remember who built it, but searching around here the other day I saw someones T-72BM with scratch slat. It looked easier to do then the PE set.
Thanks again,
Jimmy

How does the slat assembly look like? Seems daunting.

It's pretty comprehensive, I'll try to get some photos of it up early next week.
If i ever actually tackle it I'll probably buy the Eduard slat jig for the Stryker sets and see if I can use that. The photo etch is pretty thin and looks like the assemblies would be pretty delicate.
That Russian build looks crazy but I do like the photos. I'll have to book mark it.
