Doesn't 'Flakvierling' mean the weapon has four barrels, or four guns? If you check the pic link it is a single Bofor.

I think you guys are missing the point. I'm not disputing the fact that Germany used Bofors - I know they did. So did just about everybody else, and Mr. Bofors got rich! But AFV has named it 'Flakvierling' on the box. That is what I'm questioning.

Never even noticed the "FlakVierling" on the FLAK 28 box
Their website had some solemn pages showing the differences between the German & US versions. oops?
Almost as good as Italeri's 72 INCH 6 FOOT MTB

Flakvierling does in fact mean Quadruple as the american .50 cal version, in other words 4 barrels.
I must admit I thought there is going to be some sort of fantastically new kit shown here, but obviously I was wrong.
Maybe a cool idea for a "what if" if you can afford 4 of those kits in one go
As to this:-
Italeri's 72 INCH 6 FOOT MTB
What the hell is that supposed to be????

Mr Bofors never got rich because he never existed. Bofors is a place, 'fors' means rapids (a place where a creek or river flows fast and turbulent over uneven bottom).
'Bo' in 'Bofors' comes from the farm named 'Bo', mentioned in the land registry book of 1584, "nationalized" in 1600 when the owner Ture Bielke had been executed in conjunction with the bloodbath of Linköping (20th of March 1600), returned to Tures widow in 1603
Ask Google about 'Bofors map' nowadays it is a part of the town Karlskoga (firstname Karl, some swedish king or other, + forest/woods) in the "county" of Örebro but part of the geographical area named Värmland in Sweden.
The company Bofors was named after the rapids near where they set up the first plant, the town Karlskoga sort of grew up outside "the fence" around the factories.
Founded as an iron foundry in 1646
