would the A3/4 turret ever have been found on the MEXAS lower hull, and ever have been used by Germany?

Yes and no:-) The C1 MEXAS was based on the Canadian version of the 1A3 and used identical hull armour to the C2 MEXAS in these kits. However, the turret armour was completely different - not surprisingly given the different turrets. Only five were deployed to Kosovo with KFOR in 1999/2000. I hear that PSM will also be marketing this version.
