Given that neither was successful, which would you rather see? At least the M59 played a very visible role in Berlin. The M114 on the other hand, could be used in very early Vietnam dioramas.

I have to agree, M-114. Always one of my fave vehicles, I have been after the Accurate Armour kit for years, but have never been able to secure one. Don M.

Rob,
Neither. If you have some pull, perhaps suggesting a new Bradley or a M113, kit in place of those two, would be appreciated...
The M114 was used in Germany until the late 60's/early 70's on the IGB, with 2nd & 14th ACRs

I don't know about pull, but a new M2A3/M3A3 is coming, in plastic. I thought the latest generation of M113's was better. Is that not the case?

No Rob, all currently available M113 kits pretty much suck. Recent releases suck a bit less than the older ones, but we really need a modern tooling, accurate and detailed M113 family.
And answering your original question, I would personally prefer M59, because I already have the AA resin M114. But would prefer a good M113 over any of them.

Well, as I understand it the Accurate Armour model is still available; I've had one for years but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I do plan to portray it in service in Germany in the MAASTER scheme, which is one of my favourites.
I would love to see a M59, especially with the small turreted MG. There is also a resin M75 available now so a M59 would just about complete the historical thread of US APCs (I appreciate that the M114 is a recce vehicle).
Yet again, perchance to dream!
PS Of course, if I was a half decent modeller I'd attempt to scratch build - there's enough donor kits around for the suspension, but I guess I'm just too cowardly.

This is great news. Any more info? I hope it has a full interior a'la the Hobby Boss AAVP kits.

Great to be getting a new M2A3/M3A3... especially since you say it'll be in plastic. A new, more accurate M113 would be nice too

Just earlier today I was looking for a M114 to go along w my Cold War fetish! I'd get two, one in OD and the other in MASTER.
Accurate Armour was out when I was checking, but I would hesitate even it it was available due to the price and concerns about fit of resin pieces.

M114 with option for 20mm chain gun.
(Agree regarding the need for new tooled Bradley/M113)
Cheers,

M59
Always liked the 50's era armour and it is not thick on the ground. Would be really nice to see modern kits of the M52, M53 and M55 SPGs as well.
