Hi,
Very soon I'm going to start painting some 1/35th US Airborne figures.
I have never painted US WWII figures before so was wondering what colours you guys use.
I usually paint with Vallejo acrylics.
Could you tell me what I should use for uniform, webbing, boots, etc, etc...
Thanks for your help.

Joe.

Hello,

Lifecolor has made 2 special sets of 6 colors to paint WW2 US soldiers:
*the first is for the clothes themselves;
*the second one is for the accessories such as webbing, shoes,...
I have this second one (for the accessories) and it is very useful to me because it provides an interestig range of colours for shading the clothes, backpacks, webbings,...
You can find these references here:

Regards and happy modelling!

go on "www.astromodel.it" click on "lifecolor", then on "camouflage sets". The wanted item is called "wwII US army uniforms".
