It was quite a while ago I painted a figure and I couldn't resist this Young Miniatures one...
First I sprayed on Tamiya grey acrylic paint (several thin layers).
I then airbrushed on the base colors of the bust.
eyes were brushed basic, I applied oils from this point.
A great reference pic...
More done to the eyes.
Also basic oil painting of the oversuit was done.
I was wrong on the color of the oversuit...I wasn't aware of that at this point...
Close up of the unfinished head.
Time to remove paint of the Pixie and repaint from A to Z. Sand color acrylics again as a base.
And oils...
More soon.
Kind regards ! Guygantic.

Fabulous bust, amigo. One of the best I have ever seen. The shading and color is outstanding and the guy's eyes look like mine!!! The figure looks like he could turn his head and ask where the tea is.
Excellent

Mike, you make my day ! I must admit I don't have that much confidence in my figure painting 'skills'. But it's fun to do and I think Churchill (Life) will be the next one. This one however needs to be finished and put on a display first. I thank you for your reply !
Best regards ! Guy.

Great skin tones Guy. The figure turned out great. The lighting for the last images dont do it any favors ... washes out too much of the colour.

duuh, don't know how this translates in English
but it's something like
"AWESOME"
still got it, and lookin' at the scale being 1/10 it must not be easy to get that result!

Thats a superbly finished bust Guy- the skin tones and the colors on the jacket really bring it to life.
