Finished this tonight for the King campaign. Inspired by the Verlinden Productions "Snow Tiger" in Building Military Vehicles Vol. III. First time using Mig washes, I like them!Hope you enjoy it!

Very nice job! I like the faded and weathered white camo and rust on exhaust pipe.
By the way, do you know or did you used this method for winter camo? If I build a winter vehicle, I would like to try it.

Thanks Antal! I did use Mig's Nuetral wash for the overall wash on the entire surface to give it that streaky look. I didn't go exactly by Mig's instructions however. I like the link though and will save it later for a Tiger as well. The pictures really don't do it justice as the streaking is really subtle in places that the light just drowns them out.

Very nice white wash technique. Very believable. Did you leave the mounting bracket on the jack?

@retiredyank-Matt -Haha you don't miss a thing do you! Ya I noticed that after finishing the jack and laying it up on the deck. Fortunately I haven't glued it down so I will go back and clean the existing bracket from it soon!

@easyco69-David- Thanks Man! Glad you like it!

@Tigeriv- Karl- Yes they are link n length tracks, I bent the long upper run for the sag but should've done the same for the front/rear sections to get them to look better as they give it a sharp change in angle which is noticeable in the first three pictures. What I like about this kit is the extra single track sections so you can get a better fit. The tracks are the only thing I'm not totally satisfied with but I will do better on the next one. Thanks on the profile pic!

Kerry,

Nicely done, sir. The white wash camo and rust look quite good.

What details did you add or change on the Revell kit? I can see the PE engine screens and it appears you have replaced the track brackets on the turret with PE.

Hey Jeff! Coming from you, that's a MAJOR compliment! Haha, sorry couldn't help myself!!! The PE set was from ET models for the King Tiger with Porsche turret. It has PE for the Henschel Turret as well. Didn't use a lot of it as it is very small. But screens, track brackets, the brackets and wing nuts for the jack were used on the back hull. These small changes really make a huge difference in the overall look of the tank at this scale. The subtle streaking in the glacis and turret don't really show up in the pics. To see it actual is where you pick up the variances in tone. I'm pretty happy with the results and the Mig wash I used.

Nice Work man!

But the fire extinquisher is not so nice. Maybe you can scratch it!
Color and weathering effects are very cool.
Will you build a diorama?

Cheers Daniel

Hey thanks Daniel! You're right, that FE looks pretty bad in the pictures. I think the next KT will have a scratchbuilt one. I thought about lightly scribing around all the molded-on tools but forgot in the end! Another trick for the next one!
