Were any Special forces jeeps ever fitted with a big .50 cal machine gun on a pedestal mount between the seats?

I'm betting the answer is Yes that it was done. Whether it was used or not may be different. I was reading a book recently titled something like "Armor of Pattons Army" and they had a bunch of photos with All kinds of improvised MG mounts.
I'll look tonight and and post what I find.
