Mine arrived earlier this week and I have to say it is a great looking kit. Not a large part count however I don’t feel that this detracts from the kit and it should build up with the usual Tamiya ease and finesse.

For me the big disappointment is the lack of clear parts in the kit (just old style flat clear styrene sheet for periscope glass). Some parts, like four sensor heads would be so much better if molded in clear styrene. Plus obvious stuff like light lenses, periscopes etc. It is very strange how Tamiya decide on including clear parts. Leo 2A5 didn't have them, but Leo 2A6 did...

I did not know this, I wonder why Tamiya didn't include updated better clear parts, I'm kinda wondering now if I want to plop down $60 for this kit.
