Was viewing a television show last night and was suitably impressed with a Soviet (?), and/or Russian oversnow tracked vehicle. I thought that'd be a 'cool' model to make.

Using the obvious search engine I identified it (possibly) as a GAZ-34036(32) tracked vehicle, see below:

Now, is this vehicle made in a 1:35 scale. My searching skills have failed me and I am unable to find any models. Or, those of you who are the Font of Knowledge in all things Soviet/Russian maybe able to direct me to a similar 'base' model that I could scratch build?

Any suggestions would be great.

I don't think there is any model of it.

It looks like it is based on a modified MT-LB hull and running gear though.

Skif makes an MT-LB model in 1/35.

I guess it's rather a GAZ-71 (GT-SM) that is based on the GAZ-47 (GT-S) chassis, not the MT-LB one :

Definitely in the 'ball park'. Might be enough info to 'scratch' build. Although, my attempts at 'scratch' are somewhat limited.

Anyway, thanks for the info so far.

Just like to say "thanks" for all the input. Gives me a great 'foundation' to work from/to.

Cheers.
