I am building a 1/35 Dragon Tiger 1 late Ed. Kit 6383. Would I use the camo pattern provided or would I use the two piece black uniform? If I do have to use the camo pattern what is the best color to use as a base color, and also what would be the best way to approach this camo pattern?

In most contemporary candid shots of tankers a lot of crew members wear mixed pieces of clothing - everything from field/mouse grey, to panzer black, to SS camo, even some civilian clothing! (12th SS was particular in having some captured stocks of Italian leather submarine uniforms as MiniArt makes). Panzer uniform camo was the Erbsenmuster, or "Pea Pattern", which is best copied from color re-enactors samples. (Photo's can be found on web).
