Ola People

If I`m not mistaken this was what Joe (Greatbrit) wanted to show

The Pic was placed a bit wrong between the brackets so that`s the reason why it didn`t appear plus the fact that it was leading to the Thumbnail of that picture. First click to enlarge the picture then rightclick on the enlargement to copy the URL. If you do a quote on my post then you`ll see how the URL should be placed between the brackets.

Nice Cromwell GreatBrit. You'll get the hang of posting pictures here yet. Once you do you'll love it. BTW, thanks for you kind remarks on my review of the Cromwell.

Hi. Great looking model there. Really a nice job on the weathering too. Not over- or understated. It compliments the verhicle very nicely. As does the figure and 'extras'. Are those the kit supplied tracks or do I detect maybe Fruilmodel there? Keep up the good work.

Take care, sgirty

Nice Cromwell there, very nice indeed! Couple of points, it needs bit more of storage, Cromwell crews were notorious for having everything piled up on the rear deck. Secondly, the tow-rope. I don't know if you have seen it, but many Cromwells had 2 hooks (well metal strips) welded underneath the nearside deck, the tow rope was then threaded through the nearside light bracket. On the subject of storage, many Cromwells had a 'Sherman' rack welded on.
Regarding the subject of posting pics, I understand perfectly, it took me ages to get the self-confidence to put up some of my own pics up on the site.... Since I bought a digital camera though, I enjoy boring the **** off everyone with my own pics....Jim

thanks for your comments,
also thanks to faust and the others who helped post the pics properly.

the lighting in the pictures i took is very harsh, and it makes the colour look a lot lighter, and also makes the weathering hard to see.
i plan to repaint this model at some stage, to a more accurate shade,

more stowage, and better tow ropes will also be added,

and one more thing, they are the kit tracks! no £30 aftermrkets for me!

cheers

joe

Geat looking Cromwell. Those tracks were so well done, I thought they were those Frujil (whatever) tracks too. Now cover it with junk and put it in a nice little diorama.
