Meng or Xact Scale T-80, which is better? I love Meng's customer service and may end up building both, but would like to know others' opinions on how the two kits stand up to each other enjoyment wise.

Meng has not released a t80 so comparing it to the xact scale model is impossible. Anyway, the xcact scale model is quite complex and hard to build.

Hi Matt;
It really comes down too your choice.
Some People like the more Complex kits as it challenges there skills, some don't. Some like kits more that offer more builder options. Whatever kit it is there are going too be people who don't like it, Meng, Xact, Trump, etc; Our Forum is as Wide as the Universe as its Opions !

Trumpeter has T-80s coming, but they're not the same version as the Xactscale - at least so far. Trumpeter has announced a T-80B and BV, where Xactscale is a T-80U. Just one more piece of information on options for you.

No release dates for the Trumpeter kits yet, but given the time frame we've been seeing late vs. the Facebook announcement would indicate that these are early 2014 releases - at least here in the US.

I know of the promised Trumpeter kits, but their customer service is horrible. Meng is a pleasure to do business with.

Hi Guys;

Meng is a new company, with little or no Logistics problems as some of the others. So being a New Co; they haven't run into problems as of yet. IMHO I think that if you like too Dwell into the Nuts & Bolts issues there are Bound too be Lil-Errors somewhere in there that are going too be picked out. I still cant believe that we have all of these Fantastic new kits coming all about the same time.
And don't forget the T-84 Oplot, I cant wait for this one.
CHEERS; MIKE.
