You're absolutely right, not too much added value in this particular case which even uses the original tooling! Compared with such superb kits as the recent Cyber Hobby Nashorn it really falls far short.Indeed, the Nashorn kit is one of the best DML kits I have ever seen ,so it can be done with just a little more effort than DML have shown with this L/48.

After my latest session with DS tracks, all I have to say is I'll be steering clear of buying a kit with them unless they come at a serious discount. They just aren't up to snuff as far as Pz IIIs and IVs are concerned. I do like that Dragon are re-popping these older kits, but for the love of Pete, ditch the DS tracks.

Can't help but feel that they market DS tracks for those new to the hobby that would not handle Magic Tracks well. I personally would prefer to have Magic Tracks as they offer more possibilities and I don't mind the little extra work that they represent. Oh well, there are always aftermarket alternatives.

Since Dragon simply swapped the magic tracks in their kits with DS 90% of the time, preserving their complex plastic assemblies for rest of the tank parts, not really.
