Here's (almost) finished model... Some really subtle weathering was performed, thanks to one of my club members. The periscopes were cut from thin transparent foil and given a slight greenish tone. I think they look far too green, it was not the effect I was going for... but anyway here are the photos:
Antenna and flag are next. As well as the figure and some crew gear.

OK, the flag is up and the model is finished. I still have to do the figure and a simple base and I'm calling it done:

A very nicely finished model and I only have one minor point (technical).
The Camo net on the front of the turret can shift when running and iterfere with the sights and would also need to be moved in order to use the Co-ax MG. Otherwise it could burn.
As your model is pristine I'm sure it is not ready to fight (yet)...
Good work and well done Maki
Keith.

Thanks guys, I'm glad to hear all the positive comments.
Keith, thanks for the pointer on the co-ax mg. And on the periscopes... adding Barracuda was fun, but as you can see I managed to overlook some of the logical things while wrapping the net around the turret.

wow nice camo painting! I've tried this myself and I would not have believed this was 1:35 scale!

Mario, you nailed the "brushstroke" effect of the DPM perfectly.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you liked the figure. The model is now fixed to the base and I'm calling it finished. The pics of the completed project will follow shortly.

Finished. I have to admit of being too lazy to finish it up with a desert setting, using just the nice wooden base instead.
