right mixture for red primer?

I found Tamiya hull red too "dark" to be primer,what the right color and mixture? I use I use Tamiya orange,but it look like rust color than red primer.do anyone got any idea the right color and mixture?

I agree with you the Tamiya Hull red is too dark. I usually mix it with a bit of matt red a few drops of black and a few drops of X22 Clear. And I usually spray it over a black preshade. Can't give you any ratios I mix everything by eye. But the color should be something like this
