I just sprayed Vallejo acrylic grey primer (60 ml) on a Tamiya KV-1 from my airbrush. It sprayed very well without thinning. However, it looks more like white than grey! Much closer to white than Tamiya grey primer. The label does read, "Surface Primer Grey." Is the color supposed to be like this?

It's a really really light grey. More like a 20% grey than a "true" (50/50 black/white) neutral grey.

Haven't you heard? There are 50 shades of grey.

OK. As long as it grabs paint, I'm happy with it. I used to use spray can primers in my backyard patio. It was a pain because I had to protect my yard furniture and because I had to pay attention to wind. Next time, I'll probably thin it a little bit with distilled water.
