Hi, Just saw on the PMMS site the write-up on AFV Club's new 8.8cm Pak 43/41 AT gun. Aluminum barrel, PE set, vinyl tires, the works. Looks like it's going to be as hot a number as their le FH 18 Howitzer model, and as complicated as well, what with all those so very small parts to deal with.

Going have to contact Santa Claus on this one I'm afraid! Looks like there's another model to collect dust and cat hair under my bed. Ha, ha!

Take care, sgirty

I am passing this over, if I wanna test my skill, I will do an all resin kit instead, this AFV kit is not very builder friendly. Ask me, I done their LeFh18 kit.

I have seen this kit. It is one of the most amazing things I have seen in injection plastic. I can see many an armor modeller buying this to replace the guns in Dragon Hummels!

Hornisse or Nashorn, Lee. Hummel is the sFH18 150 Howitzer.

thanks rodger, my sentiments exactly!

i was really refering to the chronic lack of allied artillery in plastic.

rather than another peice of german rubbish, what we really need is,
17-pdr,
new tool 25-pdr,
new tool 6-pdr and US 57 mm,
3.7inch AA gun,
US 3 inch AT gun
US 75mm airborne howitzer,
some decent kits of russian artillery.

half of these have never seen the light of day in kit form, and the real things were produced and served in far greater numbers than almost any german equipment.

cheers
