What vehicles did the US army use in Europe for their HQ?
Did they have anything like a Dorchester?
I've found a lot of variantions on the 2 1/2 ton trucks, but nothing so far resembling a movable office...

At least General Patton used Mobile Command trucks based on converted CCKW ST-6 ordnance shop vans :

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for (and obviously didn't find;-). And the real good news is that I've got just that piece of resin waiting to be build...but not as a workshop it seems.
There's quite a few US figures around that would work with this setup, contrary to British variants. Some nice ones about to hit the shops, but we could use a few crews in the vehicles, doing what they're supposed to do...British and US.

If you've got the movie Patton , General Bradley has one .There's some nice interior scenes . I know its a movie item but it could give you ideas ....
