Honestly, I never try such technique before, but I already gain some knowledge from any articles that discuss about it. For your work result with single camouflage paint, especially at a wider area of engine deck and top of the turret, IMO clearly shows a dynamic contrast and artistically very thin application on such field gray iron, as majorly shown at picture 2 & 4. That was a very amazing and brave starting point. Also, I think that lot of practice and references will make your future work result become more outstanding!
