Hi folks,
Made a start on the Ford T.
The front body and wings fit together well, just a little clean up required on the end of the wings so it mates nicely with the body. Also clean out the flash from the brake handle opening in the cab floor.
next the rear axle and suspension stays. A little clean up on the axle from the pour points and the stays are made from 0.75 rod that comes with the kit. The transmission shaft gets added at this stage.
Then onto the front axle and steering gear
Looking at the new driver and the quilted kit seat I can see why he came with the seat molded on to his backside.
Cheers
Al

Thats was fast .... 3 days including a figure??? It looks a simple little kit, but thats still some turn around. Planning on adding this to the drasine scene? Very cool little vehicle. I may just have to get this one ... and the driver!! Nice one mate.

Morning Frank,
Had some hols, so a bit of time to work on the kit. Here's some pics with the lights added and some stowage items in the back. Hope to get the drivers face finished today so he can be fixed in. Still a gas mask haversack to add and a strap to the water bottle, maybe be a bit of a tarp between the barrel and the packing case.
Wasn't sure about adding a Lewis Gun, might just leave it with the stand in place. Still needs weathering.
Some updates:
Yes, I had thought about combining it with the Draisine into a small dio. Hopefully this will spark me to get on with the Somme scene that's been sitting for quite some time.
Cheers

Hi Michael,
Many thanks, it's a temporary venue until it marries up with a more permanent home.
