It's Tamiya's ancient KV1B kit, I sadly acquired after the passing of Dennis Sliney, friend, Marine, and member of the Upper Valley Model Club.
I don't build WWII Russian stuff much at all and would almost certainly never walked into a shop and bought this kit, but in helping clean out Dennis' appartment and pack up his things I was given the kit.

The kit is pretty old school all the way around, rubber band tracks without detain on the inner faces, but it went together like a charm. I drilled out the mg's, tried some entry level color modluation, and used a bunch of weathering materials and the Archer Transfers I found in the box.
It's no show stopper, but I'm proud of it and will keep in front and center in the display case in memory of my friend.

If the tide marks from the pigment fixer on the right fender disappear when the fixer dries, I'm going to bring it to Armorcon in 2 weeks. Dennis was a big fan of the show and helped out there every year.
