Hi everyone!
Itīs been quite a long time without posting here so after my summer hollidays itīs time to show you what I have been doing.
I took with me to the beach both AFV and Miniart Valentines, and I somehow managed to complete the build. Both are good kits but the AFV one really rocks.
I decided to build a Canadian L&L early version with the AFV, and a British L&L mk IV.
Once primed:
British Broze green:
And Russian 4B0
I have already started the whitewash with the bronze green one! Iīll post some pics soon
Hope you like em!
Regards

I'm looking forward to seeing how these turn out, however, I'm not sure the base colours you are trying to recreate are correct. Both vehicles, the Brit service and the Soviet LL vehicle should be in Khaki Green G3 as far as I can see from my references. Not Bronze Green and not 4BO.
The Russians wouldn't have generally repainted anything they received as LL in a local colour and both Brit and Canadian production of Valentines were in G3 when the vehicles were manufactured.
Of course, it's really hard to tell what the final colours are going be considering how "modulated" the colours are at the moment, still the "Bronze green" vehicle looks like it is starting off too green and not khaki enough.
The build look great, to be sure.

Hi Paul!
Thank you for stopping here!
I read in a book (Armor photohistory? Or Tank Power maybe? I dont remember) that some of them were painted in 4B0, and the idea was so attractive that I had to try it! As regards the bronze green, it was the color during the first production, but you are truth and this is possibly a not 100% exact shade of green!
The brit lady is now more advanced:
A bit of subtle modulation
Some details and a couple filters
And the hairspray white wash

Thaks Jeff and Ran!
David, the grey one is miniart. the green one is AFV. The pe is out of the box except the exhaust cover in the miniart one which was made with some foil.
