Hi guys,
As per a suggestion,I'm putting the rest of my build on another post.As I left the full build. It's slowly coming along. The DTOYS driver won't fit right,so I'm going with the Academy humvee driver stepping out.The passenger I think can work. With all the earlier instruction mistakes I hope the turret will work out. Here's the point I'm at now.

Thanks Sean,
The turret is a piece of work in itself.Nothing fits well and agaian you have to a little at a time. The figures are coming along.Attempting the multi camo for the first time. Thanks for your interest,I was starting to think no one cared anymore. .Rob,if your there,I hope to see your updates soon.
With due respct,

Tom

Hello Tom! For sure it is a hard built but the result will be satisfied i think! Great work so far! I can't wait to see the final result and the figures! You said the dtoys figures will not fit well! To big or too short?

The driver won't fit because of the large steering column. It goes verticaly to the floor and I would have to try and make the legs fit around it.A plastic figure I might attemt, but I don't want to waste a resin one I may be able to use later. The passenger may work, but the right arm has to be changed. These are made mainly for a Humvee.

Hi guys,
I need some help here.Concerning the IED device, doe's it face in towards the vehicle or out???I've seen pics of it both ways.Kenetic faces out. There also seems to be a red antenna attached.I can't find any good info on it and any help would be appreciated.I'd love to get this thing put to bed.The grenade launcher and 50 cal.are not very good and I would suggest replacing them.

Very close to the end.
PMed HeavyArty about my question and got a great response.I'm going to add full antennas, but waiting to finish everything else,I tend to break them during builds. Also adding some wiring and chains.I switched the Rhino to face the vehicle and added the red antenna. There are spare parts on the sprues that the instructions don,t mention at all(SURPRISE).One is an extra weapon and what looks to be maybe a radio.Hope to finish very soon and will get some outdoor pics.

Just in case anyone is interested, this is the finished job.
2 good things from this build is the reference photos at the end of the instructions(may have been easier with just pages of those). The other being a tip for everyone.I got some sprayed paint on 2 of the side turret windows. After probably 2 hours total using Windex to try and clean I thought there has to be an easier way.First thought, try paint thinner. Then I saw a bottle of GOO GONE on a shelf and thought I've got nothing to loose.Using a Q-tip applied it and rubbed over mabe 3 times.I was amazed to see it removed 99% of the paint in about 10 minutes.Touch ups and weathering still needed.
Anyway, here's the end.Add to dio next.
