Jan,
A very concise review and was glad to see this. I read on other sites that the wheels in this version were changed to like the box top shows but you've cleared the air on that fallacy. So this is basically the original kit with an extra sprue for the gun? Can I take it that the Lewis gun and magazine are now marked as not used? It's a shame about the gun barrel not being hollow, another step backward for Dragon?
Thanks,
AJ

Thanks AJ and I'm glad that you appreciated the review.
That's about sums it up!
Yes, the Lewis gun, its drum magazine and the spare tire are marked as unused. Therefore there is no reason not to use them as one desires. With a little imagination and some scratch building I can see these pieces being incorporated in the build.
To be fair, the gun operating handles have been slide-moulded so you don't need to worry about attaching some tiny, fragile grips like on the Dragon .50 cals. Interestingly I had the opportunity to inspect the gun sprue from an Italeri Saharaiana's Breda and they were frighteningly similar in layout and parts placement. Don't get me wrong, they aren't identical but there is what I'd call a "family resemblance."
Cheers,
Jan
