Here is the progress on my entry for the Cover Up Campaign, a WWI German down in the trenches. Needless to say he's still missing many parts and the helmet is just set on his head to add perspective.
The figure is 120MM from Verlinden.

Hey Nate!
Looks very promising! What does the base look like? It's a really neat figure. Keep us updated

Lord Pork
One great work after another.
You really nailed the eyes on this one---also great facial features. The pic of the gear looks really well done. Keep us posted please.
ps: This one will be in a little scene of some sort then for the campaign Nate?

Man Nate, your stuff just keeps getting better and better. You're not even done with this one yet, and it already looks very cool! Can't wait to see the finished product. Should be a real show...or at least campaign stopper!
Keep us posted!

Thanks guys, I actually made a good amount progress on this figure last night, adding his feet and several grenades to his belt. Before you know it he will have hands too.
As far as the base goes, this figures comes with a really nice base (and a dead Frenchman) but I will build my own trench scene, I really haven't given that side of the project much thought up to this point.... but I suppose I better as I'm getting close to that point.

Nice face. The shading in and around the chin strap is great. I really like it. The gear is superb. I like the shading on the coat too..
IMHO - the helmet come across in the photo as monotone and to me is a bit distracting.
I can't wait to see the updates.
