Hi!

It's been a long time i didn't show my work here...

So, this the lastest product from Resicast, painted with acrylics "Model air", weathered with "AK products".

A $156.00 USD? Did it come with the skirting (which looks great) or did you make it?

What shipping should I expect?

Hi Christophe,

Terrific work, looks excellent, you've really brought out the detail.

Hi Jeff,

There are two options, with or without the skirt. Drop Resicast an email as export is cheaper than the list price as you don't have to pay the VAT.

Cheers

Hi!

Thanks Allan.

@ Jeff : There is two different kit. One with the skirt an another one without the skirt.

The box contains over 200 resin and photoetched part, lenses, CD with pictures.
Decals are not included.

Two versions : US and UK.

Hi Christophe,

Would you know if any of the British versions had the early style gun mantle?

Thanks

Hi Allan,

This M4A1 version was built by the Americans and only Americans. That's why it is painted in olive drab and not bronze green.
The production of British DD was too slow before the D-Day, so Uncle Sam gave some copies from his own production.
I don't know any pictures with another gun mantlet like this large one.

The british made the convertion only on the Mark V (M4A4).
And then, there are some pictures with the small mantlet...

Hope i have given you a correct answer.

Thanks Christophe,

Both 8th and 27th Armoured Brigades seem to have had M4A1 Sherman Mk IIs. Thanks or the info I'll go with the kit mantle.

Cheers

YES, I thank everyone for the answers as this will be my Christmas gift to...

... me.

I've always wanted a nice DD Sherman. The skirting looks so great too!

I just came across this build. I have seen this resicast kit but never painted to completion. Christophe your effort is very well done. A great look indeed.

Well done!
