Well I just want the AA gun, but:
Trump -- $32,88 vs Meng -- $27,48
No question
Meng is cheaper and you have a pickup too.
The quality at Trump is... hm... not as good as they are getting more and more expensive. (And they also do not have any after-sales support)

Probably best not to make comparisons using Japanese prices, Trumpeter kits are a lot cheaper when purchased from the HK stores.
I agree, though, the Meng combo is a bargain ! :-)

I agree with Sven regarding the price.. Trumpeter and HobbyBoss prices in Japan are usually around double what they are in Hong Kong. So, I expect this to go for around $16.. or at least less than $20, when it hits the HK stores.

Meng missed a trick not releasing the gun on it's own, they would have cornered the market.

Yeah I find that odd too, especially as the one in the pick-up kit comes with the wheels and everything. it's really weird that they didn't since the sprues feel like a separate kit.

Hi;
Don't forget, there were two or three other makers that made the zu-23x2, Eastern Express, Zvesda, and the other I cant quite remember. And they came with either the Truck or the BMD, they were o.k. but were Better with the Model Point Barrels as the Flash Hinders added that Extra Touch.
MP still makes this set and they are very reasonable, and Worth the price.
CHEERS; MIKE.
