Hi all.. just finished this diorama last week. The Bren is Tamiya, figs are Dragon. Still
needs some details on weapons and also on the vehicle.. was mostly concerned with
improving my decaling and weathering of a vehicle on this project. Tried to skip the drybrushing this time and focused on staining the vehicle.. also used ground pastels for the rust for the first time,,, may have went a bit overboard but i liked the effect and kind of started rusting everthing that was inorganic.. Ha Ha!.. 3 more pics in my gallery.. Critiques and tips welcome... thanks..

Looking good! Maybe a bit overboard on the rust as you said, but very impressive just the same. Figures look great as well.
Cheers

Nice, I like the figures - who makes them. The poses are well combined.
I would like to see a bit more 'small' debris spilling out and filling is some of the edges of the falled debris you already have. Something to mimic crushed, destroyed plaster.

Very nice indeed, the Bren looks just perfect to me. I don't mind about the rust, I can't see where you 'overdid' it. Also the figures are very good-looking.
One critique might indeed be that the street looks too sterile. There seems to have been some kinda explosion in the building in the back, and normally the street would be scattered with debris - generally fighting causes a lót of debris.
Anyway, the subject (bren+figures) is perfect, I hope that my modelling comes somewhat close to your level It's just the setting that could have been a bit more natural-looking.
Greetings!

Thanks all for the input.. I'll probably dull down the rust on the front spring
of the carrier, and i agree the street could use some more debris on it..
The figures are Dragon brit commonwealth troops..NW europe 44.. and the drivers
come with the bren carrier... If you are interested in the Dragon figures please
note that i did not use the weaps they came with.. they seemed a bit spindly.
The tamiya bren recon kit had rifles and bren guns. I used those for the Dragons.
Thanks again.. chris
