I'm looking on Ebay at replacement heads for my figures & I just wondered how Verlinden heads matched up with Dragon figures? Like if they're too big or small. And how do they compare with Hornet heads? Verlinden gets you more bang for your buck, but I'm not sure it's worth it.
Any suggestions?

Quality wise, the Hornet heads are way better imho. I have seen some good Verlinden ones but as already stated, the scales are not constant. Your call dude.
It always comes down to"How much am I willing to spend"? doesn't it?

Yeah it's got me stumped. More than a dozen heads for ten dollars, or 5 for $12? Really gotta think about this hahaha.

Conor,
Human 1:1 scale heads come in different sizes, too.
As long as the Verlinden heads aren't way over- or under-scale, then their size variance could be realistic.
But it's really your personal choice.

Don't forget to factor in the body size of the figures. While 1:1 people do come in all sizes, generally speaking, their features are proportional.
I attempted to use some aftermarket heads (several different brands) on some Dragon figures only to realize the bodies were grossly oversized (or were the heads undersized?) Guess it's a glass half full/half empty kind of thing.
It's another variable to factor in.

If you really want a comparison, buy the Verlinden offerings first. If they are too out of scale, you can go for Hornet when you have the money.

Definitely Hornet. They're scaled (or sized) better to fit Dragon figs.
