Except for some resin upgrades and conversion sets, does any one make a PE set for AFV's Australian Centurian? Or is the model so good OOB it doesn't need any? I know I definitely need the mantlet cover. And tracks.

Hi Biggles 2,

If you are using Friul tracks the sprocket (Friul) doesn't fit the hull without some surgery and the AFV Club sprocket doesn't fit the Friul track without a spacer....

Have fun, I have just built the NATO version.

I picked up the Lion Marc replacement turret, with a nice molded on mantlet. There is also a couple of sets from Eduard to include side skirts, turret boxes, and a few other bits. They are available seperately or in a big set.

Thanks Jakob. The Voyager set looks to be exactly what I can use.

My company, Inside the Armour, also does a turret for the Aussie Cent:

The best track is AFV Club's own workable track, its not only better than fruil, but also a lot cheaper

And I take it you mean, 'Centurion' not Centurian?

Just a small point you understand Biggles
