I want to build a Gulf War M60 with the add on armor. Is the Verlinden resin add-on armor any good? I was originally planning on using the Tamiya armor but if this set is a big improvement, I might look for one. If it is totally inaccurate or just resin versions of the kit parts without any extra details, I'll just save my money. Thanks

I found nothing wrong with the Tamiya blocks, and can't imagine the Verlinden set being any better. The only change I made to the Tamiya parts was replacing the cast on brackets with ones made from brass flat wire. Ultimately a lot of work for very little gain.

Verlinden came out with their when there were no other options. The new kits already equipped are more practical and just as good.
