According to an e-mail I have just received from them, Propaganda Kompany (they are French ) should release a resin interior set for the AAVP7A1 in May or June 2004. It will have about 70 pieces, for $59.80 (postage not included I think). Have a look at their website :

Frenchy:
take a lok at AEF designs, they alo have a few new AAV sets out, including a set of equipment to hang on the sides. I got the EAAK, it's pretty nice looking, haven't used it yet, looks better than the WSN/Trumpeter stuff.

Howdy guys,
Frenchy: thx for the heads-up on Propaganda Kompany. I'll have to check them out.
PorkChop: As far as AEF Designs....I really would like more opinions on their quality from the peanut gallery, because there is literally 'oodles' of stuff I'd like to get from them (they are a very local company for me), but I don't wnat to pay good sheckles for garbadge can fodder!!
Tread.
I've got a AAVP waiting in the wings, and will be checking this out.

AEF Designs' quality is a weekly (or maybe monthly) discussion topicon Missing-Lynx's modern armor discussion forum. They have really interesting conversions, but my experience with them is that the quality is rather hit-n-miss.
One modeler can order the XM123A1 conversion kit and have it be outstanding, four other modelers can order it and have it missing parts or warped with big air bubbles.
I'd be interested in getting the AAV interior, but $60 is a lot of money!

Why not do a search of the site using "AEF",,, you should find the threads and messages (including my own!) with comments regarding our collective experiences with AEF. I agree, the selection is great, but the product can be very "iffy".

60 bucks!
Geeezzzz... It is good to finally see someone releasing the Amtrac interior, but it is a lot of money. They better make it worth the price! This really has to be a masterpiece to convince me to spend that much on an interior set.
Rgds,
Pawel

Hi Pawel
I definitely agree with you about the price. Maybe I should reconsider the scratchbuilding option ! I have some basic 1/35 drawings for the LVTP7A1 interior that may be useful for this (providing I manage to lay hands on them )
