Hi all
This is my version of the old Tamiya Type 61. One don't see many of these built and it is perhaps a little dated but still a fun build.
I like the odd WWII-type track sag, so I opted for the Model Kasten link-by-link track. It almost doubled the spendings om the kit,
but what don't one do for our beloved hobby...
Decals were provided for many vehicles but the decals themselves were unusually thick and hard to blend into the finish.
First time I've come across that on big T:s kits.
Painted with Gunze/Tamiya and weathered with oil paints.
Kind regards
/Tomas

Of all the pictures out there of the Japanese Type 61 on Google images, the track tension is considerably less that what you've portrayed. Appears that you can remove at least two links? Maybe three? The WWII sag doesn't fit IMO.
Barring the sag, the build looks really good. Subdued...very nice.

Hello Tomas,
Congratulations for the model! I like it very much, the pictures with the bright background allow to see the tank very clearly.
Please, I encourage you, could you change the tracks sag? Mike has posted a very great photo for reference. I know it must be a very tedious task to do at this point, but the model result is worth it.
Once done, please upload more pictures with the modification
I am looking forward to see it fixed
Cheers,
Guillem
