Hi all
Heres my AFC Club Sho't Kal finished in colours from the Golan Hights in the 1973 Yom Kippur war that started 40 years ago almost to the day.
The kit is wounderful built OOTB but perhaps I should have opted for an after market towing wire...
Painted with Gunze/Tamiya and weathered witn oil paints.
Kind regards
/Tomas

Tomas,
Your Sho't Kal looks great! Your weathering is very effective. I think the Centurion is THE best looking tank post-war - period!
Ever read Duel for the Golan: The 100-Hour Battle That Saved Israel by Eric Hammel? Sho't Kal put up an incredible fight. IIRC, Syria attacked with more divisional-caliber (122mm) artillery tubes than Israel even had troops stationed there. Some incredible personal stories in the book.

Hi Tomas,
fantastic build. I like how it's kept nice and simple without all the add-on stowage that you could have covered the vehicle in.
Is the mantlet cover home made or bought?
