I am an aircraft modeller and I am building a couple of early Valentines. I want to add a turret floor. I cannot find any builders drawings on the web, I have bought "Into the Vally", no joy there either.
Does anyone know the dimension from the top deck of the hull or the turret roof to the turret floor? Or anything that can get the floor in the correct position, for that matter.

A hero cookie for anyone (other than David, of course) who recognises where these drawings were published??
(This is along the lines of "how _old_ are you, anyway???")

David,
Well if no one else gets it right, neither of us has to tell them how old we are, do we? Howzat?

Many thanks David and Jim.
I had thought of getting the AEC anyway so that might be an extra incentive.
The drawings are just what I had hoped to find in 'Into the Vally', excellent information there.
I assume that comments about their age may mean that they were published in the '70s in the days of Bellona and others. I know there was a lot of good stuff published then and not just about armour. Books published then were more often labours of love by an individual than as part of a series where one author covers a whole range of subjects by drawing information from previous works.
( EDIT Aha, just noticed Feb. 1974 on one drawing - bears out what I said! )
