Hi,
I am trying to find picture drawings ore other references about American Airborne Jeeps (I am trying to build one of the 82 Glider. Infantry. Regiment that was involved in the market garden campaign) in WWII but I only can find references about British airborne Jeeps. Now I was wondering of the modifications made to the American Jeeps where the same as the ones made to the British Jeeps ore where they different ore where the American Airborne Jeeps not modified at all. I hope some one can help me

AFAIK, the U.S. airborne jeeps were not modified. The Waco glider had been designed to carry the load of jeep and it's crew; so the 82nd didn't have to make the drastic mods to their jeeps that the Brits had to. So just build it stock and put U.S. paratroops around it and you'll be fine.
I also checked with a couple of people I know who have done major research into the U.S. Airborne in WWII and they could not think of major modifications right off. Both said they would double check and if they find anything I will let you know.
