The only ones I know of, in 1:35 are those offered by Skif. Hopefully, we will see a continuation of the current trends in the release of a newly tooled MT-LB.

Hi Matt;
Well I don't know how long it will take them, but I think maybe they will get around too it. If you can ignore the Heavy plastic they built into a nice model, and you could get them in several different versions.
Now I agree that they were a little bit soft on details, but if you look at the real thing there was not a lot of details anyway. But you could get AM track sets that made them Better, the Up-Guned versions were hard too find.
The 6MB version was one of the Mks; that I always wanted too add too my collection, but was Impossible too find.
There were three OHWS versions that made into a vehicles that you just did not see.
CHEERS; MIKE.

I’m new to the forum… my first post, I also would love to see someone do a nicer detailed kit as there are many vehicles based on its chassis. I’m currently working on the UM MT-LB, I have noticed it is lacking quite a bit of options and details on some of the troop carrying versions… the one big one is the wider tracks, and full length fenders, I don’t even see available upgrade kits to do them.

Hi Ralph;
Just about the only thing that was made, were the AM track sets and a Edward PE set. Im not very familiar with the kit by UM, one of the AM companys that made detail sets were SP Design. Just about the only person who would know is JD, as he is the Resident expert on SP Design and there conversion sets. You can find them on e-bay from time to time, and yes there were a lot of other vehicles Based on the MTLBs chassis.

Yup a new MTLB would be nice as Skif kit needs a fair amount of work. A new MT-LBu would be nice also.

I totally agree.. a new MTLB is needed.. and there are so many different variants of it with different types of weapons fitted to it. I hope Trumpeter will surprise us with the news of one under development... and sooner, not later

Mike: The whole point of wanting a new MT-LB is that you don't have to buy the conversion, tracks, pe to make it accurate. No hacking away at the plastic to come up with something that has the correct dimensions.

Yeah it would be real nice to see this in plastic. I reckon someone will do it sooner or later, probably Trumpeter.

Hi Guys;
I agree 100% , but who ever does the MTLD either by Trump, H.B., Bronco, Meng; etc,. there is bound too be something that somebody will say that's not correct.
Which leaves the Back Door open for the AM companies too add there corrections too, and again which is a Good thing.
But there is always going too be People that you just cant please.

Slightly off topic but I would love the Artic Truck version of this vehicle as well!
OK back the the workbench for more cutting & kit-bashing!
