The kit producers have not quite gotten its lineage correct however. The only thing it has in common with the Harley D is the V twin, whoch other bikes of the era had as well. The motor more closely resembles that in a 1929 Indian. And the frame is a very BMW like (for the time) pressed steel design, not used by Harley then. It is a rigid frame however, which both the Harelys and Indians of the time had, and which required a certain amount of fortitude to ride.
