Good one, Shaun. While some will complain about the proliferation of DML German armor, Jagdpanther fans will be happy to have this variant.

It may have a few "magic tracks" for the spare track holders. But this is going to come with the one piece DS tracks that so many people whimper and whine about.

Sure there will be complaints but, Dragon does German well. Bronco and others are covering allied subjects well so I'm all for DML updating their big hitting kits such as this one. The DS tracks are an issue but, any panther I build I save up for so I can get Fruils anyway. I've only been able to replicate the proper weighted sag with DS on one kit, the Panther D with zimmerit. It takes some effort and will never be as good as Fruils but it can be done well. Thank God Ron Volstad is back and doing more work! That box art is absolutely incredible!

This is a kit I would like to have. I like the look of it, even with the DS tracks. Dragon does do better with German subjects.

The JP is my favorite piece of German engineering, and this kit will find it's way to my workbench in no time...well, once it's released I mean.

Also, I am impatient and lazy, so DS tracks are welcomed. Although I do have troulbe with track sag.

What is the difference btwn this kit and the JP early and Jp late kits. I mean really is there that big a difference to interest me to go out and add a 4th JP to the stash. Much more excited about the M103a1 and IS4 kts coming out which have never been done in injection. LOve the JP my second fav tank ( after KT) so if it is indeed diferent I can pick one up. New tooling is not enough of a reason for me as I saw nothing significantly wrong with what they came out with a few years ago
Oh and I actually prefer teh DS tracks. a little super glue and they have perfect sag

It's a pity that side skirts are not included again, that's a shortcoming of all DML JPs.((

Hi Steve ...The G2 is really quite different from the late G1 ... New engine deck with the heater ...New tool storage ..even some of the angles of the fighting compartment were changed ...So this just might be worth your while if you want to show the evolution of the JP .. I'm in for one of these!
