"The Arab Israeli Wars" by Chaim Herzog - a good bit devoted to the Six Hour War. Yup, that's about how long it really took. The other six days were pretty much mopping operations, hence the tank battles did not come close to the intensity of the October War.
The rest are "coffee table" books I bought back in the 80's, good mainly for the many photos in them.
"The Middle East Conflicts From 1945 to the ," consultant editor John Pimlott.
"Modern Military Powers Israel," general editor Stan Morse.
"The History of the Middle East Ears," J.N. Westwood.
"Israeli War Machine," Ian V. Hogg.
The rest are probably in my attic or scattered about the house.

Mike,
The Tanks of Tammuz by Shabtai Teveth is an outstanding book about the 6 Day war. I read it in college, some 30 years ago, so I don't really remember all of the action but do remember that it had some good details on the 7th Armored Brigades's fight around el-Arish.
Here is the link on Amazon for the book: http://www.amazon.com/Tanks-Tammuz-Shabtai-Teveth/dp/0670693685

Fire and Steel: Israel's 7th Armored Brigade by Samuel Katz
http://www.amazon.com/Fire-Steel-Israels-Armored-Brigade/dp/0671867644/ref=la_B000APQMA2_1_8?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1383173297&sr=1-8
This one covers the 7th Armored's history but they were heavily involved in Gaza and northern Sinai. Same unit covered in Tanks of Tamuz but written some years later so some details no longer classified.
Chariots of the Desert by David Eshel
http://www.amazon.com/CHARIOTS-OF-THE-DESERT-Armoured/dp/0080362575/ref=pd_sim_b_4
A history of the entire Israeli Armor Corps which obviously includes some good stuff on '67. Author was an office in the Corps, so knows his stuff.
A Warrior's Way by Avigdor Kahalani
http://www.amazon.com/A-Warriors-Way-Avigdor-Kahalani/dp/1561712396/ref=pd_sim_b_4
Kahalani is better known for his actions in '73 but he was a tank commander in '67 as well (he was actually blown out of his M-48's turret at Rafah). This book covers both.
The Arab-Israeli Wars is, of course, a classic.
Hope these help! What are you planning on doing?

Learning, nothing more! Well, I have an M51 coming to me so perhaps this is inspiration? Thank you very much for the suggestions, BTW.
