Well, I have finished 2 more for the Twilight 200 campaign.
The LAV-C is "Old Glory".
The M115A1 "Montana" ACAV is "Miss Detroit". ( and yes, I gave it a water-cooled .30 cal!)

Love the vehicles. Now if I understand this, these are not actual vehichles. Oh what do you use for lighting? They both seem way too green, sort of lose the highlighting I'm sure you did

Nice job! Actually an M113 with a LAV turret was put together in Canada in the late 1980s. Been looking for photos of the beast. However, even we are not so hard up that we need a water cooled 30 cal!

I like the 113 in that configuration.

Awesome job on both vehicles. Where did you find the C2 hull for the LAV? I've been looking for one since I got back to my regular life from Iraq with no success.

ok, these vehicles are technically not done...they are going in a diorama, so I have to wait to give them more weathering. Too clean?!!! Geeze, they have powerwashers...
My lighting is a bunch of flourescent stuff, bulbs and tubes, so greens tend to be a touch out of register. I do a little work with the pics in my photoshop program, using the blue background to help nuetralize the flourescent effect, but...
and there is better highlighting than the pics show...just tends to get washed out inthe process.
The C2 conversion is from an old Esci kit of the LAV-C. I just used the back deck piece on a italeri LAV-25. Problem is the Esci piece is too short, needs to be raised about 1cm to get it into the ballpark of the photo's I have. You would probably have to seperate the "raised" area from the lower half and insert some plastic card to get it right, or else cut off the top. Seems like too much work for only a fun showpiece.
Now, everyone else build a kit for the campaign...see, it is easy!
