Wow, cool. I like them both. The Could you pull the trigger is cool. I really like them.
Question about Could You Pull - what's the glass pain for? Does it add a 'fog' filter?
Assult is nice, I like the wall. I personally would have added a bit more rubble to the 'gap' . I'm a big pastel fan and would have added a smidge more pastels to the boots of the guys.
I like the base on Assult and I like the BW photos.

Hi ambrose82:
Very well done. I like them very much. What brand are the american soldiers ? Nice and realistic touch with the b/w image.

Answers to questions:
The plastic pane has the crosshairs for the scope drawn on it. I discovered putting the cosshairs at the end of the physical scope would not work because of a design flaw in the human eye. The eye can only focus on one plane of space. It turns out the distance between the end of the scope and the target object was sufficient so that the eye could not focus on both. In order to over come this, I moved the scope's crosshairs closer to the target in order to achieve the correct visual effect. The only drawback is that when the viewer moves his head, the crosshairs don't align right with the target. It was a first attempt and I'm pleased with the overall effect.
Slodder, great comments about the wall. I could add more debris. And the boots could certainly have been made dirtier.
The US sniper is an old Tamiya figure from the 70's. He came in a box with a flamethrower guy and some other crappy figures. The spotter and the squad leader are from Tamiya's much more recent "assault infantry" kit. Much nicer and more realistic posing. Much higher quality figs.
Thanks for all your kind words. I'm currently working on a Panzer Tank for a Normandy scene using Grenadiers, German assault infantry and 4 US paratroopers. As soon as I have something worth showing, I'll post it.

Great work! Did the rocks "float" on top of the ground, or were they imbedded? Would a few more weeds, or dead leaves close to the wall be more typical? Nice base.

Sealhead,
a bit of both actually, with regard to the rocks. I figured if the wall had recently been destroyed, the debris would not yet have settled into the earth. So most of the wall debris is set on top of the earth. There are other rocks imbedded in the earth.
As to the leaves, I'm not too sure about that. I didn't see any trees around . Actually, the sign reads "Audette Laitier" or "Audette's Dairy". It's a farm.... or more correctly, a fenced in pasture. So, I did not put trees near the walls. Of course, I could add a cow to the scene. Staring blankly at the soldiers as they advance...hmmmmmm....

cool. As slodder already says, you could add some more rubble but for the rest it's OK. The other dio: Could you pull the trigger is great. The sniper view is very special!!! Well done!!

Ambrose,
very good dio's, but may be a bit too much symmetry (spelled ok ????) for me..... I'm a man of dioramas that guide my eyes.... your first diorama (with the wall in the middle) makes my eyes wanna see it all at once.... Maybe try to find some "balance" in the next one that has a certain degree of symmetry in it.
Guide the eyes....... YOU tell em where to look by "telling a story"....don't let them go wandering on their own....
