The much anticipated kit of the almost-produced tank that looks out-of-this-world. Based on design studies to make a heavy "survivable" tank on a nuclear battlefield, the Object 279 was a unorthodox proposal that ALMOST made it into full production. The kit captures the look and feel of the real thing, making you scratch your head and wonder "What the heck were they THINKING?" Jacques Duquette tries to make sense of it all.

Appreciate the well done review. I've been holding off for the Takom kit and I am reassured that I hopefully made the right decision. . .
