Hi Guys,

Would anyone be interested in doing an "Old School" kit bash Campaign?? By that I mean either changing / replacing / adding say about roughly a 1/4 -1/3 third of a kit from a second source.

It could mean after market turret total replacement / or I.E changing out a Panzer IV turret onto a panther, quad 50 gun onto a m35 prime mover, field mod anti aircraft onto a truck etc

Any era from WWI up would be allowed, just require a photo of said project to prove she was real. I was thinking maybe start mid next year go for 8 months or so??

Cheers Mike

Hi Mike, so you've thought up another one eh?

I'll come to your party and I will bring this:

a T55 ARV fitted with a Bofors Flak

or this :

kitted out with this:

It will probably be the second, as the hull is left over from your cool "Civil War / Proxy Super Power War" campaign.

You´re right Mike... the Bronco Flak is more than nice, but I got the old Italeri already at home
I guess there are also some vehicles with the shield the Italeri kit offers, but the Bronco one got some nice acessories... decisions, decisions....

Sounds cool! But why call it 'old school' and not 'kit bash'. When I clicked on old school, I thought it would be a campaign about using tube glue and brushed on testor's paint

I spent a lot of my youth using that tube glue-- it really takes me back when I smell it. I hope the dain bramage isn't too bad!
Anyway, you've got me thinking about possibilities for such a campaign.

So far we have

I often have grandiose plans usually, and seldom build OOB anymore. End of next year works well for me. Give me a few months to fall in love with some hair-brained scheme!
For example, there's an engineering campaign forming now, and I was considering an armored bridge layer on a tank chassis-- would work for this campaign too! I have both an M1 and an M48 on my shelf that could donate their chassis.
So, yes, count me in.

Hello All,
Are ships/aircraft allowed. I can see an old Fletcher class DD with missle launchers added astern with the 5" guns in the front or a Air force transport turned into a makeshift gunship used in Korea in 1951-52.
If so I am in,
Cheeers,
