Hi,
I've painted in a lot of detail (infantry packs & extra stowage, etc) on a model I'm currently building & want to add some dust effects to the extra kit with some AK enamal products.
Can I spray the AK enamal products straight over the Vallejo Model Colour acrylic paints I've used or do I need to add a protective varnish coat over the acrylics first?
Thanks for your help.
Joe.

I usually start with a base coat of acrylic, with acrylics and enamels over it. The only problem I have ever had is spraying lacquer over Future, before the Future had cured.

As others have said enamel over acrylic = no problem. Have you thought about spraying oils... works a treat, leave plenty of drying time though
